Faiçal El Ouasrhiri
My name is Faiçal, a citizen of the world of Moroccan origin, an athlete. I am honoured to present my new Sport Without Borders project for everyone, especially people without a residence permit.
What is this project? It means giving the opportunity to practice sport, and in particular athletics, to men, women and children from a migrant background, without residence permits (without papers), refugees and people in difficult situations.
For me as an athlete, coach and consultant in the field of sports, I had the idea to create the sports project Sport Without Borders with an educational program for beginners. It revolves around the formula “Move – Have fun – Learn”
The richness of the project lies in the progressiveness of the objectives according to age, level and physiological needs.
At the heart of the new project, we are of course looking for the progression of physical and mental performance with the help of a training program for beginners. The training of these future athletes aims to make them participate in different sporting events such as the 20 KM of Brussels – Brussels Ekiden – Half-marathon of Brussels 5 -10 KM
Sport Without Borders is developing in partnership with the DoucheFLUX association and its president Laurent d’Ursel. Our aim is to prioritise health and well-being in the Brussels-Capital Region and to promote the practice of sport throughout life.
